The following are a sample of my extensive collection
of photographs from Jonathan Frid's shows, other DS autographs, and a new
interest: Melanie Safka Schekeryk, folk singer of the Woodstock era.

The autographs I got from Melanie and son Beau at The Turning Point, Piermont, NY, in

Feb. 2003 at
The Turning Point--- MOI, with the still-effervescent-at-55 Melanie and her youngest child, guitar prodigy,
budding singer-songwriter(and pleasant to talk to as well as to look at) Beau-Jarrod Schekeryk. I am holding
Melanie's guitar. (Hubby-Dad-Manager Peter S. was supervising in the background somewhere.)

Melanie in a
slightly witchier (wicca-er?)-styled version of her great wardrobe of peasant-style caftans (and her
large silver locket full of crystals!), waving what looks like a wand (I forgot what it is, I think it's an instrument)
bantering with Beau between songs (it seems he's ALWAYS having to help her change guitars, at least twice per show!)

they do best.
