P.S.-- -Did you know that the double-barred cross in the Slovakian emblem shown above is called the "LORRAINE CROSS"?
P.P.S.--- In answer to those who might have
questioned the absence of an American emblem up top, I thought it would be more
balanced to add the Great Seal of the United States, rather than an Eagle
emblem (since I already have the Polish bialys) or another flag (since the
Slovakian symbol is red, white & blue.). More visually interesting, also,
since most folks only see the Seal in shades of green on their money, and its
distinctive origins truly in keeping with the somewhat off-beat themes of my
text!
